League play got off to a good start for the Falcons tonight, with a 2-0 win over Pasadena.
Runs were at a premium tonight and the Falcons were just able to scratch out a couple of them on two sacrifice flies, by Emilio Velis and Will Grimm.
Grimm pitched brilliantly tonight. He was extremely efficient only allowing 5 hits, striking out 6, and no walks on 71 pitches.
Luca Cuneo reached base every time, with two hits and a walk. Isaac Sung also stung the ball each time at the plate and tallied one hit. Noah Maddox also had two hits.
Falcons look for the sweep on Friday night versus Pasadena at Stengel.
