The Falcons finished what they started on Tuesday by completing the sweep of Glendale High School by a final score of 14-1, in a mercy run shortened game of 5 innings.
The Falcons wasted no time tonight and jumped all over Glendale, scoring 4 in the 1st inning and 10 in the 2nd. With that many runs being scored so quickly there were many contributors to the teams success tonight. Chase Smith, Noah Maddox, Colby Rees, and Jamie Bleveans each had two hits for the game. Maddox and Rees both had base clearing doubles that really opened up the game. Along with Maddox and Rees, Smith also tallied 3 RBI's for the evening. Brian Ghattas and Bleveans contributed 2 RBI's for the game as well.
Noah Maddox went 3 innings allowing 1 unearned run on the mound. Chad Ruf and Colby Larin each pitched 1 inning to complete the game.
The Falcons take on Pasadena at Stengel Field next Tuesday in round 2 of league play.
