The Falcons dropped both games tonight in their double header against La Canada. The first by a final of 2-1 and the second 4-0.
It was the little things and fine details of the game that caught the Falcons off balance tonight and led to their downfall.
Solid performances on the hill came from Will Grimm in game number 1, who pitched all 7 innings only allowing 1 earned run. Noah Maddox and Chad Ruf pitched game number 2.
With the Falcons only scoring one run over 14 innings there weren't a lot of offensive stats to highlight. That being said they did hit a lot of balls hard tonight in both games, but unfortunately, it always seemed to be right at one of the Spartans.
With league play starting next week, the Falcons still have a few details to iron out but they always seem to find a way to do it.
