The Falcons 2nd win in the Babe Herman Tournament came in dramatic fashion with a walkoff win against Cajon, by a final of 2-1.
Cajon got on the board in the first inning and were then held scoreless for the rest of the game with Will Grimm battling on the mound for all seven innings.
Falcon offense couldn't scratch together much of a threat until the 7th inning. Brian Erickson roped a double down the left field line to get the rally started with one out. Things weren't looking good when JD Schaffer hit a ground ball to the 3rd baseman with 2 outs, but the Cajon infielder decided to try and tag Erickson instead of throwing across the field for the game ending third out. Erickson was safe at third and Schaffer at first. Brian Ghattas was then intentionally walked. That set the stage for Cody Cancelosi, who drove a 1-1 pitch over the right fielders head. The hit easily plated 2 runs and Cajon was left on the field after the walkoff win.
