The Falcons go into the final week of the regular season with a perfect record in league play after a win over Burroughs tonight, by a final of 10-0 in 5 innings.

The 1st inning couldn't have gone better for the Falcons putting up 9 runs.  Nico Arredondo got the first RBI of the inning with a ground ball that was mishandled by the defense with bases loaded.  Max Meyer then stepped up to the plate and delivered a base clearing double off the right field fence.  A bunt for a base hit by Chuck Weinmann led to the fifth run which was then followed by a walk by Kewin Ledesma that plated another run.  A balk scored the 7th run.  Finally Trevor Beer brought in the last two runs of the inning with a single.

The Falcons didn't score their 10th run until the 4th inning when Jaimy Blank's groundout scored pinch runner Lorenzo Respicio.

From there Trevor Beer pitched all five innings, striking out 9 batters, which was a tough feat given the tight strike zone tonight.

The Falcons take on Arcadia next week in two games that will decide the Pacific League Title.
