The Falcons keep rolling with a win against Burroughs by a final of 4-0.
It was a quick one tonight. Hits were difficult to come by with both defenses keeping it tight.
Scott Vinceri pitched a complete game not allowing any runs and scattering 5 hits in 7 innings.
The Falcons big inning came with 3 runs in the third. The first run came from an RBI groundout by Trevor Beer. The 2nd run came from a two-out single by Max Meyer, and Nico Arredondo kept the rally going by scoring Meyer with another two-out single.
The last run of the game came from a wild pitch that scored Kewin Ledesma in the 4th inning.
Burroughs threatened a couple of times but a stike'em out/throw'em out ended the 4th inning, and another double play ended the 6th inning to keep Burroughs off the board.
The Falcons match up again with Burroughs on Friday at 3:30 at Burroughs High School.
