The Falcons finished off the week with another win against Burbank, by a final of 9-1.
The game was much closer than the final score due to the Falcons exploding with 8 runs in the sixth inning. Trevor Beer pitched a solid game only giving one run through 5 innings.
The turning point in the game was when the Falcons got out of a bases loaded, no out situation in the top of the sixth. With Scott Vinceri on the mound, out number one was a pick off of the runner at 1st base. Out number 2 was a ground ball that resulted in a bang-bang play at the plate. Finally the last out was a strike out.
The Falcons came off the field fired up after getting out of the top of the sixth, and exploded for 8 runs and the game was well in hand at that point.
