The Falcons lost a tough one in extra innings to Paloma Valley, by a final of 2-1.
It was a well played game by both teams defensively with both teams struggling to get their offense going. The Falcons had a couple of opportunities to score through some small ball, but ultimately couldn't get it done on the base paths.
Trevor Beer gave up one run through six innings and had Paloma Valley off balance through most of the game. Scott Vinceri came on in the last two innings and was unlucky to give up the winning run.
It was an early season loss that has the potential to pay dividends later on in the season and hopefully in the playoffs.
