The regular season finally got under way today in the first round of the Bonita Baseball Tournament, sponsored by Dick's Sporting Goods. The Falcons drew Cabrillo High School from Long Beach in the opener and easily dispatched them by a final of
14-1.
In the top half of the 1st inning, which lasted nearly 45 minutes, the Falcons scored 11 runs to take care of business early. From there on, the Falcons were on cruise control for the rest of the game that saw playing time for most of the roster.
There were numerous hits throughout the day including homeruns from Dakota Cummins and Wes Walker. Walker's homerun lelt the park in a hurry and seemed to just keep on going!

Falcons take on Victor Valley in the next round of the tournament at Stengel on Wednesday, 6:00pm start time.
