It was a beautiful evening as the Falcons took on Muir High School on Jackie Robinson day. The Falcons dispatched the Mustangs with ease in a
10-0 final score.
The Falcons were led by senior, Tanner Carrico on the mound, who pitched 4 scoreless innings. Joe Torres came in the fifth to wrap things up.
The Falcons offense got off to a slow start, being held scoreless in the first two innings, but took care of business in the third and fourth inning with 9 runs in total. The fourth inning included a two-run homerun my Michael Russo. Russo has three homeruns in the last two games. Ryan Lynch led off the fifth with a double down the left field line and eventually scored to end the game due to the mercy rule.
Next game is Friday, at Stengel, versus Hoover.
