It was a long drive for the Falcons today, but well worth the trip as the Falcons defeated Paloma Valley 5-1.

The Falcons improved their record to 2-1, behind a solid performance on the hill by Bryan Wang (1-0), who gets the win while allowing only one run to cross the plate in four innings of work.  Brian Gadsby closed the game out in the last three innings with four strikeouts and no runs allowed.

CV cleaned up their defense considerably from the previous two games, committing only one error today.  Joe Torres made two amazing plays at third base as part of his five assists for the game.  Nick Diaz snagged three line drives, which led to two double plays, one of them being unassisted.  Finally, shortstop, Ryan Lynch, made an outstanding sliding catch on a ground ball deep in the hole, popped up, and gunned the runner out at first base.

Offensive production was led by Austin Brines with a pair of two out base hits, which drove in three runs. Kewin Ledesma added two RBI's of his own to get the Falcons to their five runs for the game.

See you at the next game!!!
