The season is still alive as the Falcons shutdown Lakewook's season, by a final score of 5-2, in the first round of the CIF Southern Section Division II playoffs.
Trevor Beer went the distance, giving up a run in the 1st and 7th to pick up the victory for the Falcons. It was an efficient evening for Beer, striking out 6 with no walks, and scattering 6 hits.
The Falcons offense produced 13 hits on the evening with Will Grimm topping the team with 3. Vincent Parrott, Brian Ghattas, and Isaac Sung each had two hits on the evening. RBI's came from Brian Erickson, JD Schaffer, Ghattas, and Sung all with one each.
The Falcons hit the road on Tuesday to face Fountain Valley in round 2 of the playoffs.
