The Falcons got off to a slow start tonight going 3 runs down after an inning and a half, but got the bats going and the victory over Pasadena, by a final of 8-3.

Pasadena had the hot bats early, but the Falcons got their mojo back in the bottom half of the 2nd inning when Anthony Russo electrified the crowd and his teammates with a 2 run blast over the left-center field fence.  Nico Arredondo then hit a sacrifice fly scoring Max Meyer and the game was tied up and there was a palpable switch in momentum.

The Falcons never looked back from that point on with a run-scoring sacrifice fly by Trevor Beer, and another RBI from Russo on a single.  The Falcons next run came from a well excecuted 1st and 3rd play which plated Will Rees.  The scoring was finally capped off by Troy Leef who scored from 2nd base on an attempted double-play that was beat out at first base by Will Rees.

Will Smiley and Scott Vinceri combined for the win on the hill and Will Grimm went 3-3 at the plate.
